'DOODLEARTH' PRESS RELEASE

Doodlearth workshop. ‘Designersblock: Illustrate’ September 14th – 23rd. Open daily 10:00 – 19:00. Free Entry. Holloway Road Tube.
Highbury Studios, Hornsey Street, London N7

Squint Opera (www.squintopera.com), Serge Seidlitz & Debut Art have collaborated to create a cityscape animation. This film is the first phase of the Doodlearth project. During ‘Designersblock: illustrate’ in Holloway the film will be screened onto a canvas. As the film progresses the public will add their drawings and doodles to this canvas in order to create 6 paintings inspired by the projection's progression. The same process will take place in different parts of the world to create new landscapes of doodles, creativity and art. In the near future Doodlearth will be an illustrated, internet community, using cutting edge technology to create a virtual environment which invites people to upload images (hand drawn, digital, collage….) into an online environment. We are interested in the happy mistakes and the unplanned. We are interested in people’s interpretations of their environment. We are interested in creating energetic artwork on the spot; artwork that is born in the conceptual space between our own projections and the creativity of the public. We want the different illustrative styles appearing next to each other to reflect the multitude of styles and languages that reflect the beautiful chaos of today's modern cities. The work will grow and take on a life of its own as the piece travels from destination to destination, image makers from the cities we visit will be adding to the work, and viewing work done in other cities. This work will be then displayed online at www.doodlearth.com

CAN YOU HELP ???

Anyone know a bit about web programming or at least know someone who does ?

This technic has worked in the past, there must be someone, somewhere in a log cabin in canada with the knowledge to help me.

i need a web literate person to tell me how to encode my website (www.sergeseidlitz.com) to open up at the bottom and scroll up in reverse. so when people open it they aren't looking at three year old work. My sites created in dremweaver, so i just need a bit of code to sort this problem out.

i'm looking to do a big update soon and want to sort this out for then. THANKS

KFC launches Big Daddy Box Meal viral
by Hayley Pinkerfield Revolution UK 17-Aug-07, 10:55

LONDON - KFC has extended its communications digitally for the first time, using a viral game to target the youth market.

The game, Hunger Strike, has been created by BBH to promote the launch of the Big Daddy Box Meal, positioned as ‘the ultimate way to keep hunger at bay’. BBH’s Content team was briefed to support TV and poster advertising with a ‘fun, irreverent and highly engaging’ digital game that would appeal to 16-to 24-year-olds.

“It is a great example of a brand understanding that they now have to give more than take when engaging consumers,” said Mark Boyd, creative director and head of content, BBH.
Gameplay has been designed to be simple, yet addictive. Players have to keep the enemy, Hunger, from reaching its pre-determined destination, armed with ingredients from a Big Daddy Box Meal.

Lidija Davidson, KFC brand director, said: “At KFC we are always looking for ways in which our communications can engage with our audience in fresh and interesting ways. We’re really excited to extend beyond our core activity with this game.”

Hunger Strike is available on www.bigdaddyboxmeal.co.uk and will be seeded across a number of UK web sites by T-Viral. The game was produced through Naked Penguin boy.
