L.A Times winner at 'Society for News Design's' annual international competition

Two of my illustrations have won awards in an American News design competition. The illustrations were commissioned by Derek Simmons at the L.A Times and were both front cover features. The cell phone Business page won in design and the college football preview won in illustration. pitch work for drinks brand

I did some pitch work a while back for a well known sugary orangey (fantastic) drinks brand that Mother does the advertising for (can you guess who it yet ?), I didnt get the job, but i quite like this simple illustration.

Christies Vintage poster auction

I went to Christies last night to see the vintage posters they are auctioning, there are some amazing old classics which i'd love to own, this image is inspired by -"ripped off from"- my favourite, a Cabaret poster with Liza Minelli screaming in the middle of a swastika!

Shell Pitch

I had to pitch against four other illustrators for the Shell campaign. We were pitching for four ads, of which I was awarded two - 'Chemistry' and 'Puzzle'. The brief changed half way through the project, we went from a playful/ young approach to a more sophisticated 'economist reader' style. Here are some of the original versions.

More British Airways

This job came in just before Christmas and was a bit of a last minute rush. There are a couple of bits that i'm happy with, but others that aren't great. The brief was to create holiday destintions using the word SALE to make all the elements within the image, this one was for city breaks.
