One hour challenge...

Here's a little game I played this afternoon... whilst waiting for some feedback from a client, I gave myself 1 hour to do a drawing and 20 minutes to get it scanned and coloured. I think its fun to sometimes not think too much about a drawing and setting a time limit can help that.

It's not often you get to do drawings of Yetis for practising your snowball throwing skills on ! It's a tough job, but I supoose someone has to do it...These pics were taken in a ski resort in Colorado. You cant miss!

From sketch to finals....

Raiffeisen Club 18 Welcome book

These are the "UN-approved & UN-finished" versions of a set of illustrations I made for an Austrian bank. The client preferred a more stripped down and flat colour style using less shading and highlights, but i was very happy with this direction. In the end I had to redo all the colouring, but it seems a waste to not show these versions too. The type hasn't been put in yet at this stage, but I'll post the finals at some point too.
